Return & Refund Policy

Lighter Week is a subscription service. This policy explains when you can request a refund, how cancellations work, and how we handle billing adjustments. It applies to all paid plans purchased directly from lighterweek.com.

The Free Teacher plan is free to use indefinitely and does not require a payment method. No charges, no refunds. You can upgrade to a paid plan whenever it makes sense for your workload.

Solo Teacher and Department subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of a paid-plan charge. To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address on the account.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the billing page in your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period.

We do not refund partial months on monthly plans. For annual plans cancelled outside the 14-day window, the subscription remains active through the paid term and will not auto-renew.

School and District signed orders follow the signed agreement. Contact [email protected] to start a request.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 60 days of the charge. Duplicate charges and clear billing errors are refunded in full regardless of the 14-day window.

• Charges older than 14 days, except in the cases above.
• Subscription periods after a workspace is reactivated post-cancellation.
• Partial-month usage on monthly plans.
• Add-ons consumed during the billing period.
