These Terms of Service govern your use of Lighter Week. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms. We try to keep them short and readable.

Lighter Week is intended for teachers, school staff, and education leaders. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

AI features in Lighter Week generate drafts. Teachers are expected to review, edit, and approve outputs before sharing them with students, parents, or colleagues. AI prepares. Teachers stay in control.

Lighter Week supports your work — it does not replace your professional judgment. Decisions about teaching, grading, communication, and student support remain with the teacher and the school.

AI-suggested rubric scores and written feedback are drafts. Final grades and feedback published to students are the teacher’s responsibility.

Parent messages drafted by Lighter Week are not sent automatically. Teachers review and send messages themselves and are responsible for the final content.

Lighter Week can help organize information about student needs. It does not diagnose learning needs or determine accommodations. Those decisions belong to qualified professionals at the school.

• Use Lighter Week for lawful, education-related work.
• Do not attempt to break, abuse, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not use Lighter Week to harass, harm, or deceive students, parents, or colleagues.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Lighter Week a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the workflows you ask for (for example, drafting feedback on a piece of student work).

Paid plans and trial details are described on the pricing page and in your billing settings. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

We work to keep Lighter Week available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance or make changes to the product over time.

To the extent permitted by law, Lighter Week is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
